What Is Equality in Forensics?

Equality in Forensics is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the accessibility of speech and debate. In December 2021, we were born out of a necessity to facilitate learning for the growing masses of the speech & debate community and a necessity to break down barriers in the debate space. We created a platform where any debater, regardless of socioeconomic status or debate experience, can learn and hone their skills at no cost. Since day one, accessibility and learning has been at the paramount of our priorities because we recognize the impact that debate has had on our lives. We knew it was about time we made an impact on debate.

Our contributions to the community

Equality in Forensics has galvanized resources and efforts from many members of the speech & debate community toward curriculum development, coaching, tournament involvement, and service to others. In our time, we have:

About the Resource Center

The Equality in Forensics Resource Center is the first of its kind in the debate space, consolidating and unifying immense knowledge and materials in one site. The Resource Center is open-source and free to be utilized by the public in the pursuit of making speech & debate more accessible.
